Mick Rathbone joins the FTD team

The Football Trade Directory team have welcomed former professional footballer Mick Rathbone to their Blackburn office as he joins us to launch ‘Crossing The White Line’, a range of sports services from motivational speaking and lecturing on sports injuries to after dinner speaking.

Crossing The White Line will draw on Mick’s vast experience within football and offer three services – motivational speaking, sports injury lecturing and after dinner speaking, with the website currently in development.

Over his thirty five year career in professional football Mick has worked in a vast amount of both playing and non-playing roles at every level of the sport working alongside football legends such as Sir Alf Ramsay, Trevor Francis, Sam Allardyce, Duncan Ferguson, Wayne Rooney and most recently David Moyes at Preston North End and then Everton, where Mick was Head of Sports Medicine.

“This is something that I have been planning for the last few years.  I have learnt so much and had so many great experiences over the last thirty five years and I’m really excited to have the opportunity to share them with others,” Mick commented.
