Belper Town Football Club is delighted to announce that it has secured a two-year major sponsorship agreement with Ambergate based plant hire and excavation contractors, J. C. Balls & Sons.
The five-figure deal will see the club bearing the sponsor’s name on both home and away team kits for the next two seasons.
J. C Balls & Sons director, Chris Balls said, “We believe that Belper Town Football Club has a fantastic future ahead of it and we wanted to be part of their future success.
“The club represents the heartbeat of the local community and has recently been awarded FA Charter Standard Community Club status, a testimony to the way in which it has reached out to embrace local people.
“These are the same principles that our company has always tried to achieve so it was a natural decision to join forces with the club to reinforce our community aspirations.
“The club has excellent facilities, a great squad of players and has forged superb links with its reserve team and the 17 youth and junior teams that exist within the umbrella of the club.
“We’ve helped the club in a number of ways over the past ten years or so but we feel that this major sponsorship agreement will provide the added impetus to help the club achieve its ambition for promotion to the UniBond Premier Division, a dream that was cruelly denied them in the play-off final last season“ added Balls.
Club secretary, Dave Laughlin also enthused about the sponsorship agreement saying “In this difficult financial climate, it is heartening to see a local company stepping in to support the town’s premier football club.
“We hope to repay the company by raising their profile in the local community through another successful season in the UniBond League.”
