England 2018 had a significant presence at the England v Belarus World Cup fixture at Wembley Stadium as fans celebrated the national team’s qualification for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa using Clap-Banners to help create a great atmosphere.
Over 25,000 supporters encircling three quarters of the ground formed a giant England 2018 banner using clap-banners, flanked by a St. George's Flag at either end of the pitch during the national anthems, to create a dramatic public show of support.
England 2018 Chief Executive, Andy Anson, commented: "The England 2018 image created by 25,000 fans at Wembley today was another demonstration of the deep passion for football we have in this country and how much people want the World Cup to come to England. Fans are at the heart of our bid. Their support has been amazing and continues to energise our campaign."
The Clap-banner's used by the fans is a noisemaker and hand-held banner all in one. Clap-banners can be printed on both sides in full colour with text, logos and other graphics within seven days making it an ideal item for last minute orders.
Clients include Arsenal, Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers, Wigan Athletic, Fulham FC, Birmingham City FC as well as being an Official supplier to the F.A. Clap-banners can also be seen in action at the Masters Football Tournament on Sky Sports 3 every Saturday night.
