Oxford United has secured Bridle Insurance as their main shirt sponsor for the club’s return to the football league next season.
United supporters will already be familiar with Bridle Insurance through their previous advertising and commercial links with the Club.
The announcement follows previous sponsors Buildbase stepping down from their role as shirt sponsor after a ten year partnership.
Neil Fox, Bridle's Chief Operations Officer says: "Firstly we would all like to acknowledge the marvellous support the club has received from Buildbase over the past ten years and as the club's new sponsors we are delighted for Buildbase that they were able to finish on such a high with the Wembley win and a return to the Football League. Looking forward, we were very pleased to hear from Kelvin as it was an easy decision to increase our involvement with the club. Oxford United is a massive part of the community and is a well run, professional family club that we are all very proud and excited to be associated with. We have already made many friends from staff, players and supporters alike and are enthused at the prospect of forming a long and strong relationship with Oxford United Football Club. We are very keen to play as large a part as possible in helping Oxford climb up the Football League."
Oxford United chairman Kelvin Thomas added: "We're very excited to have Bridle joining us as our main sponsors and are looking forward to starting next season back in the Football League with their support. We feel that Bridle as a business is similar to us as a club, in the sense that they're not only based locally but are a progressive, customer service based company that continually looks to add value to an already strong brand. I'm very much looking forward to developing our relationship further and I'm certain that this partnership will be a long and fruitful one."
