Stadia catering specialist Lindley Group has announced the appointment of Adam Elliott as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Elliot has a wealth of experience in the catering industry and had been working at hospitality giant Elior UK since 2004, most recently taking the position of Managing Director Concessions.
Earlier in his career he gained experience in the grocery retail sector working as a Senior Operations Manager and subsequently Trading & Retail Specialist with Sainsbury's, before moving into the pub/casual dining business in 2003 as Chief Executive Jim Thompson's and Dragon Inns – part of Noble House Leisure.
Announcing Elliott's appointment, Lindley Group Chairman, Ian Daly, says: "We look forward to welcoming Adam to the Lindley Group. He brings with him a wealth and breadth of experience which is a perfect fit with Lindley's plans for the strategic development of the business.
"Lindley is a well-established and respected name, and is the market leader in football, rugby, and cricket stadia catering, and we have plans to seed our expertise into other sectors within the hospitality industry. In recent years we've been expanding into other areas such as horse racing and also into arts and leisure venues with one of our divisions, Heathcotes Outside, having been awarded the ACC Liverpool contract in 2008.
"With Adam's combination of retail and hospitality experience he is well placed to take over at the helm at Lindley and steer the Group in this new direction. “
Adam Elliott adds: "I'm delighted to be joining the Lindley Group at such a pivotal time in the company's development. Lindley has grown significantly in size and stature over the past decade, and with such a well-respected and dedicated team it is well-poised to embark on further plans for expansion in the decade ahead. It has a clear, strategic vision for its future growth, and I'm certainly looking forward to helping the business achieve the ambitious targets it has set!”
