Blue Square South side Staines Town are set to raise money for a number of charities throughout the summer as a group of fans and players will take on a cycling challenge around London.
Ian Byers, Michael Hoggett, Stuart Moore, Mark Warren, David Woollands, and Staines Town players Andre Scarlett and Mazin Ahmed, along with eight other cyclists, will be bike riding between 11 football stadiums on Sunday 6th June.
The group will be starting at Crystal Palace, and will go past Millwall, Charlton, West Ham, Leyton Orient, Tottenham, Arsenal, QPR, Chelsea, Fulham, and finish at Brentford eight hours and 57.41 miles later.
Mr Byers is raising money for The Bobby Moore Fund for Bowel Cancer, after he lost his father to the disease two years ago.
He said: "The charity is also fitting to football, but I also met Bobby Moore's widow Stephanie last year, and she really inspired me. Some of the guys have connections to the army, so are raising money for Help for Heroes, and one guy works for the RSPCA so is helping them out."
Other charities include Cancer Research UK, Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals, and Homestart.
The group are looking for sponsors and volunteers on the day, and have created a movie and website where people can visit to find out more or sponsor them.
