Non-League Paper celebrates 10th birthday

The Non-League Paper is set to mark ten years of covering the grass roots and Non-League game with a special 56-page edition which also commemorates the Football Foundation's work as they also celebrate their 10th anniversary, featuring their ten biggest projects during that time.

The NLP’s star writers, led by Stuart Hammonds, will give their own fascinating insight in to the events and players which shaped the Non-League game since the dawn on the Millennium.  Plus, of course, taking you behind all the current breaking news and match action.

The NLP, which sells an average of 33,500 copies a week during the season, comes from a stable of niche Sunday sports titles which appeal to the true fans and the heartland of the sports they cover.

It is recognised as the leading authority on the grass roots and Non-League game and its journalists are regularly interviewed on radio and television. With research showing that each paper, on average, is shared by three readers, the NLP is seen by almost 100,000 people with a passionate interest in the subject.

Star columnist Stuart Hammonds heads a team of writers who provide an unmatched service of news, reports and features.

The NLP publishes throughout the summer, when sales remain a steady 24,000-26,000.

The Rugby Paper was launched in the autumn of 2008 and has quickly established itself as the biggest selling rugby union publication with an average of 15,400 sales during the last six months.

Star columnists such as Jeremy Guscott and Jeff Probyn plus writers of the calibre of Nick Cain and former Daily Mail correspondent Peter Jackson   provide the opinions while a countrywide network of writers provide coverage from the international scene through the Guinness Premiership, Championship and the lower levels of the Pyramid.

On big weekends, sales in excess of 18,000 have been posted and, again, the paper on average is shared by some three readers, so reaches 50,000 rugby fans each week. The Rugby Paper also publishes a special Welsh edition.

The Football League Paper is the newest addition to the stable being introduced this season and gives extensive coverage of the Championship, League One and League Two.  It has filled an obvious gulf between Non-League and Premiership and is selling 14,000 a week and rising.
