align=justify>MWR Solicitors, founders of the Funds 4 Clubs scheme, has been recognised as a firm that is proud to nurture its staff.

The Preston based law firm which was founded in 1912 has a collection of committed, valued staff that has been with MWR for many years. Partner Altaf Patel first joined the company in 1990 on work experience and never looked back he said “I got a training contract for two years and I have worked my way up from being a solicitor to a partner”

Legal executive Joanna McClean has been at MWR for the past nineteen years and successfully managed to juggle her work and studies with family life and is looking forward to qualifying as a solicitor soon, she said “I’ve sat my final exam. I’m excited; it’s a culmination of a long period of hard work.”

Legal assistant Sarah Calvert has now racked up ten years with the firm, handyman Eddie Day has been carrying out day to day maintenance for the past eight years and office manager Jayne Raven has worked her way up from admin assistant during her seventeen year career at MWR.

MWR’s nurturing nature is evident through its Funds 4 Club scheme which was launched earlier this year and is committed to supporting local sport and recreation in the community. Funds 4 Club provides clubs and other organisations with much needed funds in return for members using its services.
