Man City boss Roberto Mancini feels that Carlos Tevez, who is AWOL back in Argentina, has been badly advised and still has time for the Argintinean who he has described as a great player.
Tevez refused to return to training following an internal club suspension after refusing to warm up against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League back in September.
"He's a good lad, in spite of his recent behaviour. Tevez behaved stupidly in the way a player shouldn't, especially a great player." Mancini
Mancini admits he still finds it hard to comprehend what happened on that now infamous night in the Allianz Arena.
"That's the first time I've seen that in such an important match when there was 40 minutes left to play," Mancini said.
Mancini insists that Tevez turned down the chance to make peace with him and the club.
While Tevez looks to finalise a move away from the club to AC Milan, Mancini has still left the door open.
