Wolves fans can now top up their mobile phone thanks to an innovative new deal which sees the club become the first Barclays Premier League team to introduce a branded mobile phone network.
Wolves are the first Premiership football team to benefit from a new style network which brings cheaper pay as you go tariffs for its loyal customers. The move follows similar deals offered by major European clubs including Benfica and Paris Saint German.
It also offers fans exclusive deals and discounts, currently with a match ticket giveaway for Wolves v Stoke on 17th December 2011 (kick-off 3:00pm). This exclusive giveaway is an introductory offer based on pre-orders and available whilst stocks last.
The Wolves Mobile network (www.wolvesmobile.co.uk) entitles fans to buy fully branded SIM cards and pay at least 50 per cent less as a Pay as You go customer.
Wolves, Head of Commercial Affairs, Paul Lakin said: “We are delighted to offer our fans a Wolves mobile pay as you go sim card that first and foremost provides outstanding value and network coverage.
“In today’s climate it is essential we provide our fans with the very best products in the marketplace and I’m sure our fans will enjoy the volume of calls that can be made by purchasing Wolves mobile sim cards.”
Team Sims technical manager Spencer Middleton said: “These are exciting times for sports clubs as they tap into the marketing and sales potential of their own branded network. But it’s the benefits the network brings the fans that will have the biggest impact.
“We’re delighted to have forged this working partnership with Wolves and thank them for their trust and belief in our technical expertise.
