The latest in a long line of Football Industry Open Days held by the Football Trade Directory took place at Watford's Vicarage Rd stadium last week and was a great success.

The event was atended by a range of football people with clubs as diverse as West Ham to Basingstoke represented.
The exhibitors included multi-national brands such as 118 Telecom, Panasonic and Mars, as well as a range of football suppliers like SupaTurf, Clap Banners, Stick In sticker books, British Sport Museum, TopTix, Sports Identity, and S&C Slatter.
Sondico Professional, the teamwear brand had a prominent position and Wembley were represented through the Sports Merchanising and Marketing Show that takes place on March 4th 2013.
FTD director John Booth said afterwards:
'This was probably the best event we have run with some great networking. Guest speaker Gary Conery - stuntman extrordinaire was fabulous.
'Most of those who attended did some business and made good contacts for the future which is what it's all about.
'Thanks to Waford FC and Lindely Venue Catering who did a magnificent job in hosting the day.'
