As the turkey, trees, crackers, mince pies and gifts become a distant memory, 2012 is bringing more news, more opportunity and more excitement to you via the Goalkeeper Coaches Association.
We have been overwhelmed by the number of supporters registering and leaving their details and are further encouraged by the recent news of support from one of the worlds biggest and historic names in goalkeeping. As of this week, we are pleased to announce REUSCH as a sponsor and partner of the GCA.
With a host of benefits that will come with the GCA, we are delighted that REUSCH have pledged their support in pushing the GCA forward.
Head of REUSCH UK, Bob Fidler, said of this new sponsorship "The UK has been missing something, something for goalkeepers and coaches interested in helping their goalkeepers, whatever level they play at. The plans put forward by the GCA are nothing that we have ever seen before. Many coaching centres approach us looking for support, but there is a limit to the resources that we can commit to regional/localised centres. Amongst other things, REUSCH will be supplying kit and other equipment/resources to every member of the GCA which will serve as a huge benefit to everyone who joins.
With more and more work being carried out on formulating the launch of the GCA later this year, there is a lot to be excited about.
