Kettering Town lose ten points

The Southern League have confirmed that, due to Kettering entering a CVA, the Poppies will begin the forthcoming 2012/13 season with a ten point deduction. The club has fought off two winding up petitions in recent months but start life at this level with a ten point deficit to find.

Financial problems have beset the club in recent years and they were demoted from the Blue Square Premier League as a result.
