The FA has announced that 20 job opportunities are to be created at St. George’s Park.
The roles, which stretch from football development posts through to marketing opportunities, are all available now at www.thefacareers.com.
Chairman of St. George’s Park, David Sheepshanks, said:
“We are creating a new team at St. George’s Park so every single one of the new roles will be critical to our future success. We aim to develop a world class culture amongst our staff, with an exceptional service ethos and we are looking for people who want to be part of this.
“With FA Learning – The FA’s educational arm – relocating to St. George’s Park there are also a number of exciting positions related to coach education and personal development.”
Former Sheffield United and Bristol City striker Wayne Allison, Research Manager for coaching at St. George’s Park, added: “I was a professional footballer for over 20 years and I’m delighted that the next stage of my career will be playing a part in the future of English football at St. George’s Park.
“It’s going to be an exciting time for everyone involved in the game and St. George’s Park really does signal a new era for football development in this country.”
St. George’s Park is the training home of the 24 England teams, and a national coach education, development and sports medicine centre for football, sport and business. The 330-acre site is situated in the heart of the country in Burton-Upon-Trent and is due to open in summer 2012.
