Football finance has never more been under the spotlight as another SPL club claims poverty. Dunfermline has revealed they have only paid players only 60% of their February wages.
Following promotion to the SPL the club announced losses of £431,621 in 2011 including player and football management bonuses of nearly £185,000. This was after a loss of £1m in 2010.
Rangers, who have been in the spotlight in recent weeks with talk of reducing the player's wage bill, owe Dunfermline £85,000 for ticket sales.
Club chairman John Yorkston said: "The Rangers situation has had a knock-on effect. I can confirm full wages were not paid."
