Stoke City ask for fans opinions as they move ahead with stadium expansion palns


Stoke City are giving their fans the chance to influence the proposed stadium expansion plans at the Brittania Stadium by enetering into a statutory public consultation process for the next two weeks.

As it stand the proposed plans will be put forward to the local authority at the end of November, and the two week period before that will be when fans and members of the public can submit ideas or raise any questions they might have.

The plans will see the stadium's capacity surpass 30,000, and is in no doubt necessary due to the clubs fifth successive year in the Premier League. 

The club have published computer renderings of what the plans would look like upon completion, to give the fans a better idea of what to expect. 

Managing Director at the club Richard Smith said of the process |we are offering this opportunity to supporters, or indeed anybody else who this may affect in any way, to give their views or, for that matter, to ask any questions about the development.
