Arena installed two LT Grandstand seating systems into Fort William F.C. in Scotland, each housing 63 tiered tip up seats with three wheelchair spaces. Mindful of the harsh weather conditions often experienced in the Scottish Highlands, the grandstands were strengthened to withstand strong wind pressures and integrated an extended roof and full end enclosures to provide additional protection.
This summer has also seen Arena Seating provide a 100 seat capacity LT Grandstand to Cwm Wanderers F.C. in Wales and a 162 seat system with three integrated wheelchair positions for Norfolk County FA headquarters.
Liam Redmond, Arena Seating project manager, explains: “Our LT Grandstand system is designed to provide football clubs of all sizes as well as rugby, cricket and other sporting associations an affordable, cost effective seating option. The system can be installed rapidly, with a very simple delivery process which transforms spectator experience and facilities instantly without the need for disruptive building work.”
The grandstand is constructed from box painted steel and plastic coated cladding for low maintenance. LT Grandstands are delivered to the clubs fully assembled and placed on pre-prepared foundations, allowing for quick delivery and installation.
