Cardiff City fans rally round Mackay as side lose 3-1 at Liverpool

eNewsletter
Cardiff City fans made their opinion known despite losing 3-1 at Anfield on Saturday. The vast majority of City fans at the game wore the 'old' traditional blue colours instead of the red introduced by Malaysian owner, Vincent Tan. Tan has also hit the headlines again this week following the ultimatum issued to boss Malky Mackay, in which he told the Scot ‘resign or be sacked’.

The news has surprised pundits and angered fans, with Mackay having guided the Bluebirds to their first ever stint in the Premier League.

The fans protested after the match unfurling bans with slogans like Tan Out and He is Ruining Our Club and Give us our Club back.

Tan's move to get rid of Mackay has come in for criticism in many quarters and Radio 5 Pundit, and former Welsh captain, Robbie Savage was scathing in tonight's 606 programme.

Many believe Macaky may have taken his last game in charge.
