Evo-Stik Northern Premier League clubs, Buxton, Ilkeston FC and Matlock Town, along with First Division North Salford City have one thing in common. They are heading into 2014 with newly accredited FA Charter Standard Club status.

Club development is an integral part of the FA’s National Game Strategy and the Evo-Stik NPL is encouraging all its members to achieve the benchmark in order to eventually become an FA Charter Standard League.

The quartet are following in the footsteps of a host of Evo-Stik NPL clubs to earn formal accreditation as FA Charter Standard Clubs.

According to the League's official website, other recent recipients include Brigg Town and Wakefield in October and November respectively, both earning their reward for their on-going commitment to raising standards by providing a positive experience for players, coaches, referees, administrators and volunteers alike.
