Coventry City set new record after Crewe cup game sell-out

If anyone was in any doubt that fans like success, look no further than the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Despite mid-table positions, Coventry City have confirmed that their Northern Area Final against Crewe at the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday is sold out.

City will set a new record for the tournament outside the final at Wembley,beating Southampton's gate of 29,901 set in 2010.

The winners will meet either Southend or Orient who contest the Southern Area Final.
