Coventry City announce new kit launch for live Sky game

Coventry City will wear the new 2013/14 home shirt for the first time for their home League One clash with Sheffield United on Sunday, October 13. As yesterday at Vale Park, where they lost 3-2, Coventry have been playing without a sponsor so far this season.

The Sky Bet League 1 club take on the Blades at their temporary home, Sixfields in front of the Sky Sports cameras for the 4pm kick-off.

The new kit will also be available for limited sale on the day of the game with 500 shirts available at the ground.

Any remaining stock will be made available online via www.­ccfcshop.­co.­uk on Monday, October 15th priced at £34.99 for short sleeved adults and £24.99 for children's sizes.

Once the limited first 500 are sold out the new kit will then be going on full sale during the first week of December.

The new home kit will be worn by the Sky Blues for the remainder of the 2013/14 season as well as the entire 2014/15 campaign.

This will co-incide with the Club's has new shirt sponsor, medical charity the Grace Research Fund.

The new partnership will see the fund’s logo feature on the Sky Blues’ shirts for the next three months.

The Grace Research Fund raises money and awareness for medical research into premature birth and neonatal care.

It is the first time Coventry City FC has had a charity as its shirt sponsor.
