Chinese football fans have backed Arsenal as their favourite club, at the expense of Premier league Champions Manchester United.
Chinese tourists account for a large proportion of England's overall tourism, with many visiting London. The tourists can easily make the trip to the Emirates whilst enjoying the rest of the capital's sights.
Arsenal also attract huge crowds when they tour the country during pre-season.
Arsenal edged United as the most popular club with Italian side AC Milan third, with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona making up the top five, The CNN reports.
Germany was chosen as the most popular national side in China ahead of Italy and Spain while the English Premier League was the overwhelming favorite national division among Chinese fans, receiving 50 percent of the votes ahead of Spain's La Liga and Italy's Serie A.
The survey was conducted by Coventry University's Center for the International Business of Sport (CIBS) in England between September and November last year, and drew a total of 15,586 responses.
United suffered their eighth league defeat of the season at the weekend against Stoke, and look unlikely to challenge the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea for the title.
