The Suffolk FA Western Area Youth Soccer League (FA WAYS) has been handed a sponsorship boost from Drive Vauxhall of Bury St Edmunds.
The league, which officially launched in October with a seven-versus-seven football festival hosted by partners King Edward School, aims to create an environment for players to have fun, learn and develop and deliver the national game, locally.
As a result, there are now seven under-10 teams taking part in the league which is run on Saturday mornings through to the end of the season next April.
Suffolk FA football development officer Nathan French, who has been instrumental along with the WAYS Committee in getting the league off the ground, said: “I am delighted that Drive Vauxhall will be sponsoring WAYS.
“The money will be mainly used to help promote WAYS as well as funding future festivals for new teams that come in to the league.
“I am looking forward to working with Drive Vauxhall in this exciting new partnership and developing WAYS in the future.”
