Derby County sponsors head north and do deal with Hibernian

Just as fans south of the border are getting used to Derby's new stadium name - iPro Sport recently agreed a ten-year deal worth UK£7 million (US$11.2 million) for the naming rights to  County’s Pride Park Stadium the go ahaed company has teamed up with Scottish Premiership soccer side Hibernian. Hibs  have signed  iPro Sport as their official hydration partner.

The three-year agreement, worth a six-figure sum, will see the firm receive branding both within Hibs’ 20,000-capacity Easter Road Stadium and online.

The Hibs players will use the brand’s isotonic drink, which uses a balance of complex carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals instead of sugar in order to provide athletes with healthier nutritional support.

Hibs manager and former England international Terry Butcher commented: “This is a win-win for Hibs; not only are we introducing a new and exciting partnership, but it also provides our players with a first-class sports drink – helping us to perform both on and off the pitch. We’re the first club in Scotland to work with iPro Sport and we look forward to forming a successful partnership.”

Cliff Bogle, the managing director of iPro Sport Group, added: “We at iPro are delighted to announce our official hydration partnership with Hibernian Football Club, and to be able to support the club’s playing and management staff through Terry Butcher’s exciting plans for the future.

“Understanding the club’s heritage, community and development plans was also a key factor, enabling us to extend our ethos of working closely through innovative and creative initiatives that benefit the club’s wider family.”
