Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson will hold a fans forum this week to discuss the side's recent poor form.

The manager will host an hour long session on Thursday for fans, who will be able to quiz him on why the side have only recorded one win in eleven matches.

Ferguson said: ‘We are going through a really difficult time at the minute, but it is vital that everyone sticks together during this period."

"I understand that the supporters are frustrated and I felt it was a good time to have a forum where supporters can put their point of view directly to me and for me to answer those questions in an honest and open way."

It is not known whether the club's chairman Darragh MacAnthony will attend following his rant on Twitter after their 2-0 defeat to Colchester on Saturday.

MacAnthony heavily criticised players and some sections of the fans who left the match early with their side losing, and his frustration is no doubt being felt by the fans as the side have slipped out of the play-off places over the Christmas period.

They have won just twice since the start of October and are currently 11th, five points behind Sheffield United who occupy the final play-off spot.
