England manager has called up three uncapped players to his squad to face the Republic of Ireland and Slovenia next month.

The most high profile addition to the squad is that of QPR striker Charlie Austin, who has scored 17 goals this season as he tried in vain to help his side avoid relegation.

Keeper Tom Heaton, from fellow relegated club Burnley, has also been brought up to the squad, as well as Leicester forward Jamie Vardy.

Vardy, 28, has four Premier League goals this season.

Hodgson's squad will face the Republic of Ireland on June 7th, before a European Championship qualifier against Slovenia a week later.

Slovenia currently sit in second place behind England, who have won all five of their qualifiers so far.

With the U21s Euros also coming up next month, the likes of Saido Berahino, Harry Kane and Callum Chambers have all dropped down into Gareth Southgate's squad.

The full senior squad is as follows:

Defenders: Ryan Bertrand (Southampton), Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Chris Smalling (Manchester United).

Midfielders: Ross Barkley (Everton), Fabian Delph (Aston Villa), Jordan Henderson (Liverpool), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), Ryan Mason (Tottenham), James Milner (Manchester City), Raheem Sterling (Liverpool), Andros Townsend (Tottenham), Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal).

Forwards: Charlie Austin (QPR), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Jamie Vardy (Leicester), Danny Welbeck (Arsenal).
