Scottish football: Rangers closer to return to Premier League after beating Hibs

Rangers set up a Premiership play-off final against Motherwell next week despite losing out to a stoppage-time goal against Hibs at Easter Road on Saturday.

Rangers now have two games left if they are to succeed in their aim to return to the top-flight in three seasons.

In a torrid match Hibs failed to get past a stubborn rangers rear guard that hardly threatened all afternoon. A 94th minute strike from Jason Cummings who missed a few early chances before finding the net - was too little - too late.
