Jez Moxey has left his position as Chief executive at Wolves following their takeover by Fosun to take up the same role at Norwich City.
The CEO was due to spend three months at Molineux assisting with the handover of the club, which was bought last week, but can now move to Norwich early having already agreed to become their new chief executive.
Wolves have created two new positions to replace Moxey with head of football development and recruitment Kevin Thelwell promoted to sporting director and Laurie Dalrymple, the club's head of commercial, their new managing director.
He told the club's official website: "I have done my bit here, that is how I feel, I have played my part as part-custodian of a fantastic institution and I have given it every sinew of effort and everything I ever had."
Walter Zenga was appointed the club's new manager, replacing Kenny Jackett, at the beginning of August.
