Nearly 5,000 tickets have gone for the match that could see the Reds storm up into League One as the anticipation around the town reaches fever pitch in getting behind John Coleman’s side.
Majority shareholder Holt told the Lancashire Telegraph: “It’s incredible how fast the tickets have gone. They’ve been going like hot cakes and we could have sold twice as many.
“I’m disappointed for those who couldn’t get one because we want everybody to come, but we can only fit so many people in.
“It’s a big day for the club and it should be a great day for the town.
“We want to win the game and I think we have every chance of doing that.
“John (Coleman) and Jimmy (Bell) have done everything they could have done and the players are fit and raring to go.
“I think we are in good shape and it should be a fantastic day for everyone.
“Hopefully Accrington will have something to celebrate come 5pm on Saturday.”
A spokesman for the club said: “Anyone who has ordered their tickets to collect on the day is urged to arrive early as a large number of people are expected to arrive at collection points.
“Accrington Stanley would like to thank everyone who has purchased tickets for this game for their patience and look forward to welcoming you on Saturday.”
