Brentford is to install a new LED technology advertising system at its Griffin Park stadium in a move designed to provide its sponsors with greater exposure and enhance the match-day experience.
The second-tier club said the system would be fitted during the October international break.
The system will form part of a wider commercial programme being introduced by Brentford that will seek to add value for its supporters and broaden the offering for its sponsors.
The club’s new title partner, online gaming company LeoVegas, will feature prominently on the new advertising platform, along with other club sponsors.
As well as promoting sponsors, the advertising system will be capable of showcasing live match stats and social media content during games at the 12,300-seat Griffin Park.
Brentford said the digiBOARD system, which will be located in front of the Ealing Road, Braemar Road and Brook Road stands, would be transferable to its new 20,000-capacity stadium, which is currently under construction.
Brentford’s commercial director, James Parkinson, said: “We’re excited to bring LED technology to Griffin Park to add value to our partners and enhance our match-day experience. The model we are implementing will allow Brentford Football Club to further develop its relationship with regional and national businesses to drive revenue into the club at this important time in our history.
