Crystal Palace have announced a new multi-year partnership with Dongqiudi.
Donggiudi, who are a Chinese soccer app, will be Crystal Palace’s first ever sleeve sponsor, and the company’s logo will appear on the left sleeve of the first team playing shirts.
Additionally, Dongqiudi’s branding will feature on the front of the South London outfit’s playing shirts during the Premier League Asia Trophy, a pre-season tournament which kicks off in Hong Kong on 19th July.
Crystal Palace are the latest of top-flight club in England to announce a sleeve partner after the Premier League changed their rules on having sleeve sponsors.
"We are delighted to have Dongqiudi as the club’s first shirt sleeve partner,” said Steve Parish, chairman of Crystal Palace. “Dongqiudi’s platform gives us a fantastic opportunity to promote Crystal Palace in China whilst giving their brand exposure to the club’s growing international following and the wider global Premier League audience.”
A Dongqiudi spokesman added: “We are delighted to become Crystal Palace Football Club’s first shirt sleeve partner. The exposure this new partnership gives us will allow more football fans to connect and interact using our app, engaging in conversation about their favourite teams and players.
