Woking have announced they have renewed their key partnership with major sponsor, Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd.
Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd has been a partner with Woking since the 2014-15 season and in 2015 took on the role as one of the club’s most significant backers, with the naming rights to the Laithwaite Community Stadium. The new agreement ensures that the naming rights to the Laithwaite Community Stadium and sponsorship of the Geoff Chapple Lounge will run until the end of the 2019-20 season.
Elliot Machin says: “This is an exciting time of opportunity for the Football Club, with a new management team bringing a fresh approach on the pitch. It is, therefore, a great boost to sign this important agreement with Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd for a further 3 seasons. The central aspect to any sponsorship deal are the commercial considerations for both parties, but our relationship with Andrew Laithwaite and his team is much more than that. He brings a love of football, particularly youth football and a genuine appreciation for the club. Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd has been a fantastic partner and we are very grateful for their continued support and increased investment”.
Andrew Laithwaite, Managing Director of Laithwaite Financial Services Ltd said: “It was a great honour to be granted the naming rights for Kingfield 2 years ago. Having the rights to the name of Woking Football Club’s historic home is a responsibility we take seriously. The community element of the Club and the Stadium itself represents the importance of the club’s work locally and was an important factor in our decision to support Woking FC. The relationship with Woking Football Club is special and has grown over the years and we are delighted to commit to continuing with our partnership."
