Hull City have become the third and final team to be relegated from the Premier League this season.
Hull entered yesterdays match away at Crystal Palace knowing that a loss would see them relegated. They got off to the worst possible start as Italian defender Andrea Ranocchia missed the ball when attempting a clearance to let Wilfred Zara in to slot the ball past Eldin Jakupovic. Crystal Palace scored 3 further goals without reply to win 4-0.
It is the 2nd time in 3 years that Hull have been relegated from the Premiership but it's the first time that the club have been relegated to the Championship in their first season.
Manager Marco Silva will meet with the club's board to discuss the future. Silva said "I will talk to the board and the chairman first, talking inside the walls of the club. We started to lose in pre-season when we were making our preparation."
