The deal started in 2014 and will see the home insurance and repair company to continue as the principal sponsor of the club until the end of the 2021/22 season.
As part of the deal, branding for HomeServe will appear on both the front and back of the team’s playing shirts.
Stefan Gamble, Walsall’s chief executive, said: “HomeServe and Walsall FC are two organisations with deep-rooted connections to our town, so we’re incredibly proud they have agreed to extend their deal as the club’s principal partner for the next five years. We’ve enjoyed an incredibly close and successful relationship over the past three years and to us this new deal is so much more than just a sponsorship. Like HomeServe we have a special relationship with our local community and to know that we have the unwavering and continued support of the town’s biggest employer gives us the confidence that we’ve got a bright future ahead of us both on and off the pitch.”
Greg Reed, HomeServe Membership’s chief marketing officer, added: “This deal cements our dedication to supporting a football club that is woven into the fabric of our home town. We’ve been based in Walsall for over 20 years and we’re passionate about investing in local business and giving something back to our community. It’s important to us and it’s a huge part of who we are. This club is the heartbeat of our community and its family-focused ethos makes it a perfect partner for HomeServe.”
