Accrington Stanley announce Bowland Brewery as new FanZone sponsor

Accrington Stanley have announced Bowland Brewery are the latest FanZone sponsor for the season, the deal will see Real Ale sold in both the sports bar and the FanZone at the Wham Stadium.

Bowland Brewery were founded in 2003 when the founder decided to follow his dream to establish a viable micro-brewery. Over the next ten or so years the brewery went from strength to strength picking up lots of awards and commendations along the way.

Warren Bennett, Managing Director said, “When we saw the positive moves at Accrington Stanley we were delighted to be able to support the club with sponsorship of the Fan Zone. Here at Bowland Brewery we are proud of our Lancastrian heritage and we are really pleased supporters will be able to drink some of the finest ales Lancashire has to offer at the Wham Stadium.

We wish Accrington Stanley well in this exciting season; there is a good feeling down there at the moment.”

Daniel Bowerbank, Commercial Manager added, “It is great to have another local business sponsoring here at Stanley. The FanZone is a great way to advertise Bowland Brewery to all the local fans who come to the ground on a matchday. As part of the deal we will be able to use the Bowland bus for selected games throughout the season and we will be selling Hen Harrier ale in both the sports bar and the FanZone. Having been to the brewery and seen the great setup they have at Holmes mill and discussing the clubs’ future plans it was a partnership that went hand in hand. We look forward to working with Warren and the team throughout the season.”
