AFC Mansfield appoint new commercial manager
AFC Mansfield have announced that Brian Stokes will be the new commercial manager at the club.
Brian currently works for Family Fund, a disability charity. He has had a varied career path that has seen him work in the House of Lords as well as secretary of York Pride.
He also had a time as York City's mascot, Yorkie the Lion.
As commercial manager, Brian will be responsible for maintaining the commercial operation at the club as well as further enhancing and expanding their links.
Brian said: "I have always been a massive football fan, and have been looking for an opportunity in the sport for a long time. The people owning the club are true football people and they have a fantastic setup here in Forest Town.
He added "AFC Mansfield have great ambition and I look forward to playing a key role in helping them fulfil this."
