Bolton settle winding up petition

Bolton Wanderers have paid an outstanding sum to HM Revenue & Customs according to the club.

HMRC issued the petition this week, a situation which Bolton said was being dealt with, but it will now be dismissed after receipt of the payment.

Elsewhere Shaun McHugh left his position as Financial director at the club on Wednesday and becomes the 2nd person to leave the post in the last 12 months.
