BT announce BT Sport price increase

BT have announced that broadband subscribers will soon have to pay £3.50 per month in order to receive access to BT Sport.

From 2nd April, BT will charge customers a fee despite it previously being a free service to BT Broadband customers. The increase is part of a wider pricing rise for landline and broadband services.

In recent years BT Sport has invested heavily in football by winning the exclusive rights for liveUEFA Champions League and Europa League, as well as live Premier League matches.
