Burnley record 5th highest profit in Europe
Burnley have recorded a net profit higher than the likes of Bayern Munich, Porto and Barcelona for the 2015 financial year. Burnley's net profit is the fifth highest recorded by a European club.
In the year when they got relegated from the Premier League, they recorded a net profit of £40 million which was only bettered by four other English teams and Real Madrid.
Burnley manager, Sean Dyche, said "This is a club that has to be run properly."
These figures were revealed in the UEFA Club Licensing Benchmarking Report for 2015.
Elsewhere, Manchester United recorded the highest ever operating profit with £125 million which beat the £118 million Real Madrid brought in in 2011.
Liverpool recorded the highest net profit, largely down to the sale of Luis Suarez, with a profit of £65 million.
