Bury appoint Lee Clark as manager
Bury have announced that Lee Clark is the new manager of the club after a compensation package was agreed with Kilmarnock for him to leave.
Clark had been manager at Rugby Park since February 2016, when he replaced Gary Locke. He kept Kilmarnock in the Premiership last season and leaves them in sixth place this season.
He added "I firmly believe that Lee is the right man and he has an enthusiasm and passionate desire to take this club forward. I was overwhelmed with his knowledge of the club and the contacts he has in the game and how he believes in what we can achieve together."
Clark has previously been manager of Huddersfield, Birmingham and Blackpool and takes charge with Bury sat in the relegation zone of League 1.
