Capital One Cup: Everton look to make it an all Merseyside final as they take on Manchester City
Liverpool booked their place at Wembley on Tuesday evening despite losing their second leg against Stoke, eventually going through via a penalty shoot out.
Everton travel to the Eithad this evening with a 2-1 advantage, with top scorer Romelu Lukaku scoring the goal which gave them the advantage in the first leg.
They will be in for a tough test against a City side who boast one of the best home records in England, and have not lost a home game to Everton since 2010.
City and their boss Manuel Pellegrini can also look back to the Chilean's first season in charge at City, having won the Captial One Cup that season before going on to lift the Premier League title in 2014.
Whoever loses the tie this evening know that they still have the FA Cup to go for, with both sides in the Fourth Round, whilst City will also be looking to progress in the Champions League as well as challenge for their third Premier League title.
