Celtic fined £13,000 following poor supporter behaviour and player indiscipline

Celtic have been fined £13,000 after poor behaviour from their supporters and improper conduct from the club's players in their UEFA Europa League match against Fenerbahce.
The charges the club have received relate to the Group A game held at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul on 10 December in which the teams drew 1-1.
UEFA fined the club for supporters setting off fireworks in the stadium and for improper conduct of the players as five players were booked during the match.
It is the third match in a calander year and the eighth in five years that has resulted to the club being fined by UEFA. They were disciplined for crowd disturbances against Dinamo Zagreb, as well as player indiscipline against Inter Milan.
The Scottish FA has written to both Celtic and Stranraer following complaints of sectarian singing during Celtic's Scottish Cup win earlier this month.
