Champions League latest. Mastercard remain a key partner
The extension is for the next three seasons, covering 2015-16 through until 2017-18, and also includes sponsorship for the Super Cup, Women’s Champions League final and the Youth League final.
Additionally, MasterCard will continue as the official provider of Champions League player mascots and launch a range of other fan promotions and experiences.
MasterCard initially sponsored the Champions League in 1994. The financial terms of the latest sponsorship were not disclosed. The firm will continue as a top-tier Champions League sponsor alongside UniCredit, PlayStation, PepsiCo’s Lay’s brand, Nissan, Gazprom and Heineken.
