Champions League latest. Mastercard remain a key partner


MasterCard has renewed its long-standing sponsorship of the Uefa Champions League European club football competition.

The extension is for the next three seasons, covering 2015-16 through until 2017-18, and also includes sponsorship for the Super Cup, Women’s Champions League final and the Youth League final.

Addi­ti­onally, MasterCard will continue as the official provider of Champions League player mascots and launch a range of other fan promotions and experiences.

MasterCard initially sponsored the Champions League in 1994. The financial terms of the latest sponsorship were not disclosed. The firm will continue as a top-tier Champions League sponsor alongside UniCredit, PlayStation, PepsiCo’s Lay’s brand, Nissan, Gazprom and Heineken.
