Championship: Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino's son Edoardo charged by FA
The son of Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has been charged by the FA for comments he made on social media.
Edoardo Cellino, who is a director at the club, has been charged by The FA for what are alleged to be 'abusive and/or insulting and/or improper' comments, in contravention of Rule E3(1).
A statement from the FA further stated that the breach is an “Aggravated Breach” as defined in Rule E3(2), as it includes a reference to disability.
He has until 11 April 2016 to respond to the charge.
Leeds drew 1-1 with QPR on Tuesday evening which left them 15th in the Championship in what has been a lackluster season on the pitch, whilst Cellino's controversial ownership has continued to draw opposition from the club's fans.
