Championship side Blackburn Rovers announce new long term sponsorship deal with ownership group

Blackburn Rovers and Venkateshwara Hatcheries Group have aannounced a major long-term sponsorship agreement.

Rovers have agreed a five-year partnership package, which will see the Venky’s brand added to both the men’s and women’s playing kits, whilst also enhancing their visual presence both at Ewood Park and on our various digital platforms.

The new deal sees Venky’s become sleeve sponsor for Rovers’ men’s team, back of shorts sponsor for the men’s, women’s and Under-21s teams and travel wear sponsor for both the men’s and women’s sides.

Venky's took over at Ewood Park in 2010 when the club was in the Premier League, but have in that time dropped down as far as League One before returning to the Championship.

Rovers’ CEO Steve Waggott said: “We are delighted to be expanding our existing commercial relationship with our Owners to promote brand Venky’s through this comprehensive partnership agreement.

“This renewed commitment, which opens many exciting opportunities for both businesses, demonstrates the Owners’ unwavering determination to help the club progress strategically and build upon a shared vision for sustained success ahead of the 2023-24 season and for many years to come.”

“The Owners are delighted to enter into this new multi-year agreement, which further cements their relationship and their commitment to the club on a significant scale.

“A well-established and iconic brand, Blackburn Rovers will allow VH Group to tap into new markets and this new sponsorship deal provides a fantastic opportunity to further expand the Venky’s brand profile to an ever-increasing international audience.”
