Championship table toppers Derby County announce new partner

Derby County went back to the top of the Championship after beating Watford - it ended a good weekend after the club announced a new off pitch deal as well.

Mortgage Advice Bureau has signed a three-year agreement to become Derby County Football Club’s preferred mortgage partner.

The sponsorship deal will see advisers from MAB, which is headquartered next to Derby County’s home ground at Pride Park, visiting the stadium to offer mortgage and protection reviews to fans

Supporters who take up mortgage advice through MAB will receive match tickets and be entered in a draw to win tickets for lunch with Derby County head coach Steve McClaren and attend a training session at the club’s training centre.

Derby County president and chief executive Sam Rush says: “It’s great to welcome MAB on board here at Derby County, especially because they are a local employer serving local people.”

MAB chief executive Peter Brodnicki says: “As a Derby-based business we’re looking forward to building a really strong partnership with Derby County in the coming years. Our recent listing on AIM shows how ambitious we are on a national scale but, given our Derby roots, it’s appropriate that we sign our first sponsorship deal with our local club.”
