Clubs put brakes on sackings with Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers two of the exceptions in February
The owners at Leicester City may have pressed the panic button in sacking Claudio Ranieri but overall managerial changes have been thin on the ground in February.
Other than Leicester, other notable casualties have been Owen Coyle at Blackburn Rovers and Lee Clark who left Kilmarnock to join League 1 Bury. Andy Preece joined Southport and the only other change was Kevin Nugent taking over the helm at Barnet.
Compare that to January when there were over 20 changes which included Hull City appointing Marco Sillva and fellow Premier League strugglers appointing Paul Clement. In the EFL Notts County, Gillingham, Oldham, Orient, Notts County and Hartlepool all made changes to try and get their season's back on track.
John Sheridan seems to have had the best impact at Oldham dragging the Latics from the foot of the League 1 table to sixth bottom.
Nottingham Forest have yet to find a long term replacement for Philippe Montanier who left over a month ago.
