Co-Founder of footballtradedirectory.com George Moss dies
It is with great sadness that we learnt of the death yesterday (14th Feb)of George Moss one of the co-founders of the footballtradedirectory.com
Sadness, because we will miss George's unique slant on life and the fact that he leaves his family at such an early age. He was just 63 when he died.
Having met George in 1996 when we were at Preston North End we have worked together on and off for over 20 years.
Back in 2004 we developed an idea for a football industry directory - which became www.footballtradedirectory.com. And whilst George left the business for personal reasons in 2012 his energy and knowledge on the financial side ensured the business became established - and testimony is that over 10 years later we go from strength to strength.
George was more than just a business partner though and his friendship will sorely be missed not just by us, but many of the people that he came into contact with over the years.
But whilst we will miss George we take some comfort in the knowledge that his suffering is an end after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Thoughts are with his wife Ann, and Children Kelly, Charlie and Laura
