Derby County sign shirt sponsorship deal

Avon Tyres will have their logo on the front of Derby's playing shirts throughout the upcoming season, and the brand will be advertised throughout the club’s Pride Park Stadium.

The deal sees the tyre manufacturer upgrade its partnership with Derby, having previously been the clubs’ back-of-shirt sponsor since 2015.

“We’re delighted that Avon Tyres is our new main shirt sponsor for this season,” said Ashley Peden, Derby County’s director of partnerships. “Everyone is aware that they were the back of shirt and shorts sponsor last season, so we’re thrilled that they are making the step up for the current campaign. Both Derby County and Avon Tyres are well-established and long-serving brands in this country, sharing a great deal of synergy, and we’re looking forward to delivering a positive partnership moving forward.”
